Walkerville Aloft is located abutting the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park on an elevated site in a small cluster of about 25 houses, with amazing views over Waratah Bay to Wilsons Promontory. The two-storey house is set high above Walkerville North beach and its wave-cut rock platforms, its sandy swimming sections and a surfing break.

Mesmerising views of Waratah Bay and Wilsons Promontory from nearly every room characterise Walkerville Aloft at Walkerville North. The 1960s house has recently been renovated, turning it from a one star energy rated house to an over 5 star rated house. The 60’s look and feel has been retained.

Walkerville Aloft is a great and relaxing place to stay for a couple, a family or a group of up to six people, including children.

The living area has comfortable furniture, a wood fire, plenty of books and games, paintings, prints and photographs, split system air conditioner/heater, ceiling fan, a flat screen television and a DVD player.

Enjoy the amazing views of Waratah Bay while dining at the turned-leg wooden table with its bentwood chairs.

The contemporary kitchen at Walkerville Aloft has an electric stove, dishwasher, a refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a kettle and toaster and an wide range of excellent cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils.

Tea towels, dishwashing liquid, a sponges are supplied.

The living area is accessed by a short flight of internal stairs.

Downstairs, Walkerville Aloft has four bedrooms, three of which face towards the sea, while the fourth, a double bedroom, overlooks mature tree ferns. The main bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom has two single bunk beds. All bedrooms have plenty of storage.

Bathroom / laundry is located downstairs and includes a bath with shower above and a washing machine and combined basin/sink.

Covered doonas with mattress protectors, pillows with protectors and extra blankets are supplied for all beds.

Please BYO bed linen, including sheets and pillow cases, and bath and beach towels.

Walkerville Aloft accommodates a maximum of six visitors, including any children at any one time.

Walkerville Aloft’s bathroom is also located downstairs and includes a shower over a medium to large-sized bath, a hand-basin and a separate toilet.

A bathmat and a hand towel are provided for guests’ use.

Please bring BYO personal toiletries and bath and beach towels.

There’s also an outside shower for washing off the sand and salt after a trip to the beach.

The house is accessed by two flights of external steps, while inside is one flight of stairs.

Bookings are for the sole use of the property for up to 6 people. Covered doonas and pillows supplied. BYO bed linen and bath and beach towels.

Walkerville Aloft is located on a steep coastal block and has parking for cars on two separate levels.

Things to do:

A verandah extends in two sections along the front of Walkerville Aloft’s upper floor, alongside the open plan living and dining space with its seaward wall of windows and sliding glass doors, and polished timber floors.
On the verandah there’s an outdoor furniture setting and a gas barbecue.

Local Attractions:

Go windsurfing at Shallow Inlet, hiking in Wilsons Promontory and Tarra-Bulga National Parks, see the picturesque townships of Foster, Buffalo, Fish Creek, Port Franklin, Toora Welshpool and Port Welshpool, and experience the grandeur of the Strzelecki Ranges.
