The cabin being in Yanakie was in a good quiet location but there were some issues. In particular the windows had cobwebs and were not clean. There was no detergent or a pot scourer for dish washing and glasses and plates in the cupboard were not very clean this could have been due to previous occupants.The outside deck should be cleaned on a regular basis to remove bird droppings,dust and dirt.

The location was wonderful and the views amazing. I think the 200m to the boat ramp is as the crow flies, we had to drive there. The cabins are comfortable enough but need a thorough clean. We had to clean the fridge and the cutlery and utensil drawers before use. Problem with ill fitting insect screens meant the windows and doors had to be closed all the time. We would consider returning if these issues were fixed.

My wife and I stayed in cabin-3 for two nights. We loved our stay. All basic amenities were available to us in the cabin. The view was amazing and surrounding so calm. After booking, email communication from the host was great. I highly recommend cabin-3 for any single / couple travelers. One important thing to consider is to pack your own food / cooking ingredients unless you are willing to drive 15 mins to the nearest restaurant at Fish Creek. Full kitchen facilities are available in the cabin. There is a general store / bottle shop / petrol station at Yanakie which is around 5 mins drive away from the cottage.

Slightly better TV was a little better and there was no cover for cars. Bunk beds may be a but small for taller people, ok for kids. Otherwise excellent all round. Cozy but modern and very clean. Reasonable view if you’re somewhat tall. Short people may not see over tree line from balcony. Spotted local bunnies and an Echidna, massive flock of Galahs put on a show near dusk. Strong winds common but I liked that.

It is a small basic cabin with reasonably good cooking facilities and a short drive to the Prom. Quietness depends on other guests in 2 other cabins which are close by. I would not recommend 6 people staying in Cabin 2, as they advertise. There is only one cupboard in main bedroom, one small towel rail in the bathroom (no bath) and seating for only 2 people to watch TV. View from seats outside on the deck would be enhanced if shrubery in front of deck was reduced in height.

My only “not so great” would be that the cabin we slept in did not easily sleep four. The bunk beds for the kids were short – were most appropriate for kids under 10. And the mattresses on the bunk beds were thin – they could feel the slats under the mattresses. Otherwise everything was great, small but clean and beautiful location.

Great location, great view. Everything we wanted (except for a spare toilet roll). Only complaint was we weren’t sure how to play the dvds that were supplied.

Stayed at cottage n°3 with my girlfriend just for one night. It was absolutely lovely. The place is really simple, but got everything that you need. The view in the morning is just fantastic. And the price is really worth it ! I will Definitely stay there again…
