Stony Creek

Stony Creek is a small South Gippsland town a few kilometres from the South Gippsland Highway.

The Great Southern Rail Trail where the train used to travel through Stony Creek is now, which offers horse riding, walking and cycling pleasure either towards Meeniyan or Foster.

A new Go-Kart track and café opened in the school holidays of September 2008. Racers can hire karts or bring their own. A number of games machines will also be on offer. The café is open on school holidays, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday during spring and summer. Stony Creek’s central location makes it an ideal place to stop as you explore the region.
