Port Albert

1 hour drive to Wilsons Promontory.

First settled in 1841, Port Albert was a bustling port until the 1870s when road and rail links caused its decline. Many of the old buildings are being renovated, including the oldest licensed hotel in Victoria. The safe harbours provide good fishing. Walk the 11 km round trip from the Seabank Caravan Park to Port Albert along the edge of the Nooramunga Marine and Coastal Park.
