NyoraNyora, from the Aboriginal word for 'wild cherry tree'. Walking trail: Explore the Wuchatsch Reserve. Attractions: Nyora Pony Club & Nyora Speedway Population: 450 The Post Office opened around September 1890. Between 1999 and 2002 Nyora was the location for an ABC television drama 'Something In The Air' about life in a town called Emu Springs. The story centred around the local radio station 3ES which operated out of the disused railway station. |
