Prom Gate Vista Cabins are set out for privacy and to take full advantage of panoramic uninterrupted views of Corner Inlet, Prom Mountains plus adjoining farmland a little bit of it all in one place.. If you are an early riser you can take in the magnificent sunrises coming up from behind the Prom hills and shining on the water of the inlet

We have three two bedroom fully self contained Cabins ideal for families, small groups or couples who are after that extra room to relax in.

All Cabins have a queen size bed (with electric blanket)in the main bedroom. Cabin (1) has a double in the second bedroom (with electric blanket) Cabins (2) and (3) have a Tri bunk (double and single ) in the second bedroom. Our 3 cabins all have 2 and 3 seater couches in the lounge , the 3 seater converts to a double bed . All linen, towels and bedding is included in the price.

Bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.

Our kitchens are fully equipped with all modern appliances they include dining setting, microwave, full oven/hob with 4 hotplates, toaster,kettle upright fridge/freezer, plus all crockery, cutlery, pots, etc.

In each living area there are 2 & 3 seat couches, television 51cm, set top boxes for all channels. DVD player, video and CD-radio . Coffee tables, fan along with electric heating.

On our spacious decking which has a large grassed area at the front, we have an outdoor setting and bbq. The decking is closed in at both sides so you can always find a spot to sit in all types of weather and take in the veiws after a day out visiting this beautiful area.

Laundry access available. Small fee as we are on tank water applies

A large selection of movies available at the office.

We named the cabins Prom Gate Vista Cabins as we are close to the entrsnce gate and have panoramic sea/water views of Corner Inlet and Wilsons Promontory mountains

No smoking is allowed inside Cabins. Sorry, no pets.

In off-peak season we do specials fo extended stays. Discounts for seniors etc.

We are situated in Yanakie "Gateway to the Prom" Yanakie is the town that borders onto Wilsons Promontory

Tariffs apply all year round, are in Australian Dollars and include GST.

We are close to areas for swimming, surfing, fishing, walking and fantastic scenery. Our local General Store is just 5 kms away and they have a good supply of food, newspapers and a wide range of alcohol. Foster and Fish Creek, which are just 20 minutes away both have a hotel, cafes, galleries and craft shops. Foster has a golf course, swimming pool, two supermarkets, a fruit market and smaller shops.

We live at the Property so are there to greet you and offer any assistance we can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible Minimum nights for long weekends etc. Long Weekends 3 night minimum Easter and Melbourne Cup Weekend 4 night minimum

Each cabin has its own private parking with plenty of room for the trailer or boat

Local Attractions:

Wilsons Prom is the main attraction in this area but there are many beaches and walks around in the surrounding area. With the Great Southern Rail Trail 20 minutes away this is ideal for cyclists, or if you like to fish there are some great fishing spots for the off shore fisherman or out in the boat in the bays. Agnes falls is a great spot to visit taking in the other side of the bay along with the pier at Port Welshpool and the Windmills and Craft shops at Toora.

Getting There:

When you arrive at Yanakie which has a General Store and Garage, continue on for a further 5 kms towards the Prom, on the left hand side of the road you will see our big blue vic/road signs saying, "Prom Gate Vista Cabins" turn left 150 metres, this is our street Tingara Close, we are the 4th property down a grey gravel road on the right.
