Newly built Black Cockatoo Cottages are stylish, warm and comfortable. Abundant native trees and shrubs attract a variety of bird life including the Black Cockatoo. All three cottages are fully self contained with magnificent views of Wilsons Promontory and Corner Inlet. Kitchens are fully equipped with an upright stove, microwave, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, toaster and jug. Each cottage has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and electric blanket, a lounge room with a futon fold-down bed that doubles as a couch, two comfy easy chairs, a TV/VCR, DVD and compact disc player. Each cottage has a laundry and bathroom. Towels and linen supplied. Magnificent sea views. Relax in comfort, in self-contained cottages overlooking Corner Inlet and Wilsons Promontory. Enjoy abundant bird and wildlife. Swim, surf, sail board and fish. Take magical bush walks along peaceful tracks that lead to turquoise waters and pristine beaches. Eat at quaint and imaginative cafes in Fish Creek and Foster. Drive to Agnes Falls, along the spectacular Grand Ridge Road, through Tarra Bulga National Park or visit the beautiful beaches of Waratah Bay, Walkerville and Bear Gully.

Yanakie is a Koori name from the Gunai/Kurnai language translated as 'between waters'.

DIRECTIONS TO YANAKIE & BLACK COCKATOO COTTAGES: From Melbourne take the South Eastern Freeway to the Cranbourne exit. Travel through Cranbourne, Tooradin, Korumburra, Leongatha and Meeniyan. Just past Meeniyan on the right-hand side is the road to Fish Creek / Wilsons Promontory. Just past Fish Creek, take another right-hand turn to Wilsons Promontory. Travel to Yanakie. Four kilometres past Yanakie on the left-hand side is Foley Road. Black Cockatoo Cottages are 600 metres from the corner, on the right-hand side.
