Sabrelyn Park - Wilsons Promontory, Waratah Bay

Address:

270 Savages Road , Waratah North, Victoria 3959, Australia

Description:

A tranquil self contained eco cottage that accommodates up to 10.

Spoil yourself: take some time away from the daily grind, and treat yourself to a break at Sabrelyn Park. Which despite the faraway feel, is located just two enjoyable hours drive from Melbourne.

The cottage is fully self contained farm style, set in a large garden with a scenic barbeque area & lots of room to play. It has 4 bedrooms – 2 bedrooms have queen size beds, 1 bedroom has 4 bunk beds & the other 2 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 an ensuite. The spacious living room is comfortably furnished & has a TV, DVD, VCR, CD, games & lots of free movies. There is a large well equipped kitchen & separate laundry. The house is warmed by efficient wood fire combustion heating, and each window offers views of either, Wilsons Promontory, Sandy Point, ocean, inlets or lush farm & bush lands; all are breathtaking.

You will be struck by the peace and quiet, the silence broken only by the sound of the resident frogs trying to outperform the birds. The dawn & evening chorus is nothing short of magical. Kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echnidas, possums and an array of bird life can be spotted throughout the area.

Designed to have minimal impact on the environment, we are powered by the sun, (solar hot water & solar generated power - both backed up by conventional power) & collect our water from the sky. You will enjoy the hot showers and the glow of the energy efficient light globes more, knowing that you are doing your bit to contribute to an improved world future.

A wonderful place to stay while enjoying the Prom and Cape Liptrap. Great view of Prom, and wonderful sunrises. Host is most congenial and helpful. Highly recommend.
