Set in a fantastic location close to the shops, playground and beach, this spacious, character-filled 3 bedroom cottage offers stylish holiday accommodation.
The open plan living area features modern leather couches, LCD TV and adjoins spacious light-filled kitchen/dining area complete with breakfast bar. With 3 large bedrooms the first two comprise queen beds, the third has 2 sets of single bunks making it perfect for the kids. Next to the kitchen a small children's area has been set up complete with 'kiddies' table and chairs and toy box. This area leads to an undercover deck complete with BBQ and teak outdoor setting.
Features include fully equipped kitchen, microwave, LCD TV, DVD, stereo, heating in all rooms, separate laundry with washing machine, bath and separate toilet. The cottage is set on a large double block which makes it perfect for families.
The cottage has a port-a-cot, high chair and baby/toddler swing readily available.
Well behaved pets are welcome at the owner's discretion. The property is set on a large flat double block giving pets plenty of room to run around and explore. It is fully fenced and has the added bonus of being able to close the gate to the second block if you prefer. Pets allowed inside (not on the furniture or in the bedrooms).
Whether you want to spend a day on the beach, fly a kite in the backyard, or have a quiet relax on the deck, this one's for you.
Station Master's Cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 with Queen beds and one with 2 sets of single bunks (ie 4 singles). The cottage supplies bedding including doonas, blankets and pillows, but no linen. Guests are asked to bring their own sheets, pillows slips, bath towels, bath mat and tea towels.
Off peak:
$140 per night. $625 for 5 nights. $700 for 7 nights.
Peak (April & Sept school holidays, Easter, long weekends - 3 night minimum):
$160 per night. $775 for 5 nights. $900 for 7 nights.
December / January School holidays (excluding Christmas/New Year’s weeks):
$180 per night. $875 for 5 nights. $1000 for 7 nights.
Christmas / New Year’s weeks (21 Dec - 4 Jan):
$1200 for 7 nights

Koonwarra:
The Koonwarra General Store is situated in the Hamlet of Koonwarra which is about 20 minutes drive from Venus Bay. The town comprises the General Store which is renowned for its catering abilities and fantastic produce from around the Gippsland region. There is also an Organic Fruit and Vegetable Shop, Gallery and Day Spa.
Inverloch:
The town of Inverloch is known for its Pier and beach fishing. There are 2 hotels and numerous cafés and restaurants. The Red Elke is the latest café with live music on a Saturday night and all food is made on the premises. Southern Bazaar set in the Industrial area is a large shed filled with Retro and Antique furniture and collectables.
Konwak:
Another hamlet town that has the best markets on every Sunday of the year. Konwak is about 14kms from Inverloch heading towards Leongatha.
Wineries:
There are numerous wineries situated throughout Gippsland and the surrounding area, ‘Lyrebird’ and ‘Paradise Enough’ are 2 of the better known wineries in the area.
Loch:
Is renowned for its annual Antique Fair for which people travel far and wide to attend. There is a fantastic Hotel which has played a special part in one of Australia’s long running television serials, great cafés and original swimming hole.
