Loves Lane is your Indulgent Rural Retreat providing AAA 4 star rated, high quality accommodation for any occasion.

We have 2 individually designed, self contained cottages nestled amongst rolling green hills with stunning rural views and spectacular sunsets. The Sunset Cottage with 2 queen size bed (one in the open plan and one in a separate bedroom) sleeps 4 people and the Orchard with one queen size bed in the open plan sleeping 2 people. Both Cottages have electric blankets, large corner spa and shower, fully equipped kitchen, wood heater, split system air conditioning, ceiling fans, home theatre system, large flatscreen HD TV, DVD, CD player and a Playstation3. Both cottages have their own private balconey/verandah. with a barbecue and outdoor setting.

Loves Lane is set on 5 acres with spectacular gardens, water features, seating areas and a gazebo over the ornamental dam.

Ideal for a quiet and private weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city or as a base to explore all that the surrounding region has to offer.

Location:

Just a 2 hour drive from Melbourne you can enjoy all this region has to offer. There are a number of ways to get to Dumbalk, depending where you start your journey.

From Melbourne by car, the journey begins on the M1 which can be easily accessed via CityLink, a tollway that connects three of Victoria's freeways, including the Tullamarine Freeway that runs from the airport to the city.

The quickest way is south-east along the Monash Freeway (M1), which turns into the South Gippsland Highway (M420).

Once on the M1, take the Cranbourne & Phillip Island exit (M420). This will get you on to the South Gippsland Highway.

Continue on the M420 for approx 34 km then take the Korumburra and Leongatha exit, Route A440.

When you reach the T intersection in Leongatha take the left hand turn to Morwell (B460).

Follow this road around past the Devondale dairy, over 'Coalition Creek' bridge and take the first right hand turn - Mardan Road.

Travel 16km along this lovely scenic road, then turn right into 'Meeniyan-Mirboo Nth Rd' (C455), also known as 'Loves Lane'.

1km around the bend will bring you to your country escape - Loves Lane Cottages.

A surround sound theatre unit provides for all your entertainment needs. The unit includes a high definition flat screen HDTV, DVD, CD player and a Playstation 3 for games or Bluray discs. 50 DVD's are provided in the cottage for your enjoyment and another huge range of DVD's and Blurays are available for you to borrow at no extra charge. Your personal BBQ and outdoor setting are provided on your cottage balconey that overlooks spectacular views of the rolling green hills of the Gippsland region. A large corner spa bath is provided in the bathroom along with a shower, toilet, hairdryer and full sized vanity unit.

The Grand Ridge Brewery: Sitting high up in the Strzelecki Ranges in central Gippsland, the world's most awarded brewery offers 100% pure beer and a'la carte dining in the Brewery Restaurant.

Gippsland's Grand Ridge Road: One of the great tourist drives of Victoria. For 132 km it snakes its way along the ridge of the Strzelecki Ranges, providing striking views across the emerald-green farmlands to the Latrobe Valley in the north and Bass Strait in the south.

Tarra-Bulga National Park: South Gippsland is well known for its giant Mountain Ash trees, beautiful fern gullies and ancient myrtle beeches. The park covers 2015 ha of some of the best examples of original cool temperate rainforests of the Strzelecki Range.

Meeniyan Art Gallery: MAG meets the needs of both artists and community, providing contemporary gallery space for high quality exhibitions, 12 per year. Because the space lends itself to a combination of 2D & 3D work, exhibitions combine artists whose work is complementary.
