At first I thought the location might be difficult as it turned out it was the best position for us as we like to explore. The host and hostess were good they knew when to engage you and then when to give you your space, and the restaurant that they booked for us was excellent. The bedroom although was fantastic, it could do with half the nic nacs removed, so as to have some room on the dressing and bedside tables for your own personal things to put out.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Hudspeth House to my friends and colleagues. Tony and Judy were excellent hosts who were unobtrusive over the weekend. The facilities were first rate, lacking nothing, and the cooked breakfast was excellent.

It was one of the most relaxing, cosy and private bed and breakfast places to spend the night. We really enjoyed and appreciated the wonderful hospitality and the very tasty breakfast.

A lovely nights stay in a charming house. The owners were wonderfully welcoming and friendly and the facilities second to none. The breakfast was excellent. The owners managed to strike just the right balance between been being welcoming & friendly without being intrusive. We would recommend Hudspeth House to others without a single reservation.
