Koonwarra Cottages are set amongst six acres of spectacular gums and native gardens, are an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and a little piece of the country atmosphere.

These new two bedroom cottages are tastefully decorated, to a country style, timber is featured throughout, with timber look flooring, exposed beam ceilings in the living area and dado paneling on all walls.

Each cottage provides a wood heater, air conditioner, colour television, DVD and CD player.

A fully equipped timber kitchen includes electric stove with oven, microwave, electric kettle and toaster, fridge, all cookware and a timber dining setting, in each cottage.

The separate bedrooms offer a queen size bed and double bed with single bunk. Linen and towels are provided.

You can sit back with a bottle of wine and enjoy our generous size corner spa in the bathroom with vanity and toilet.

We also offer a barbeque area in our large gazebo, which is lit in the evening.

From the large veranda you can enjoy the views, read a book or just sit back and take in the sounds of the native birds in their natural environment, which surround our cottages.

TARIFFS

Single $90, Double $120, Extra Adult $20 and Extra Child $10 per night.

Special rates are available for weekly stays.

Tariffs apply all year round, are in Australian Dollars and include GST. Minimum of two night bookings for long weekends.

Cash or cheque only. 50% deposit by cheque is required to secure your booking. Balance on arrival. (This does not apply to online bookings.)

Koonwarra Cottages are located just off the South Gippsland Highway, adjoining Koonwarra Village, which has two fine food and wine cafe restaurants, art and craft galleries, local fresh produce farmers' markets (held on the 1st Saturday of each month). Koonwarra Village also features The Great Southern Rail Trail, a 7.5km walking, cycling and horse riding trail, that travels through our lovely wetlands and dairy farm land, to Leongatha (4 minutes drive).

During your stay with us you will find that we are centrally located to many areas of interest, including:

~ Only minutes drive to great local wineries

~ 5 minutes drive to three 18 hole golf courses

~ 15 minutes drive to Inverloch with excellent beaches

~ 40 minutes drive to Wilsons Promontory National Park

~ 50 minutes drive to Phillip Island

Other tourist drives and national parks are also within reach, such as Agnes Falls, Cape Liptrap Lighthouse, Grand Ridge Road, Strzelecki Ranges, Tarra-Bulga, Turtons Creek and Walkerville Lime Kilns.
