Cleanliness		This cottage manages to be both spacious and cosy at the same time. The decor is done in very good taste. The owners were very helpful without being obtrusive and their Jack Russells won our hearts. You have a real sense of being out in the countryside but with easy access to the rail trail going to Leongatha which starts at the shop/cafe. (However, we had to drive to Meeniyan to get access to the rail trail to Foster. There is a break in the trail at Koonwarra due to bridges being down and the Highway is not safe to ride on. But that isn't a problem, so long as people know.) The cottage is very good value. Australia Wednesday, 27 Apr 2011 place Management Response Thankyou Rosalind. Cleanliness		We loved our stay at Emerald Hills. The owners are friendly and helpful and the location lovely. It is quite close to the main house which did not worry us but may be a consideration for some. There is however still plenty of privacy afforded to the cottage with screening and gardens. We were towing a trailer and the parking was a bit tight. The best part for us was the magnificent views and proximity to the rail trail which was fantastic for family cycling trips. Our day trip to Wilsons Prom was also fantastic.
