Koonwarra Store Convivial DinnerSaturday, July 11 at 7pm Saturday, August 8 at 7pm Convivial Tables - Convivial Good Times Convivial Tables is about promoting the knowledge of food through a hands-on approach to the appreciation and knowledge of food, but it's also about sharing the love of food and wine with family or your new friends sitting beside you. It has to do with focusing on one of the most important thing in our lives... food and the sharing of food. It feeds the body, but it also feeds the soul. What are we doing is offering a dinner table on a simple, friendly and casual level. It's so much more than just putting something into your mouth; it's about opening up your boundaries and nurturing your soul. Every month join Dyson as your Host and a Guest Winemaker and/or Producer from the menu highlighted, indulge in nature's earthy abundance and enjoy the culinary delights of the season. Taste and talk about food and wine, and learn from the growers prospective just what goes into the production of their infinite passion. We can all travel by car or plane and visit somewhere beautiful, but we can't necessarily meet these extraordinary people with their wonderful produce and culture, or experience their incredible passion for what they do. This exposure is beneficial for these food and wine producers. These growers are passionate and committed to the food they produce, and we think it's vital that they are able to meet equally passionate foodies, who apprecitae sustainable agriculture and people who care for their land and soil. So gather family, friends or just come along to wine and dine on our long shared table, feast on our handcrafted 3 course $50 set Dinner Menu and slurp on decadent small vineyard Gippsland wines (suggested wine matches by the glass or bottle on the evening). Jazz NightSaturday, June 27 at 8pm (please be seated early) As part of its essential fundraising efforts, the committee invites you to a night of Jazz with the South Gippsland All Stars. Don Santin - trombone, Charlie Palfrey - reeds, Noel Bond - keyboard, Clive Budd - guitar and Neville Drummond - bass. The night will include an interlude with "Donny & Clive" so if you are dancing or just listening, it will be a great night. Bookings essential. WHERE: Meeniyan Hall. The cost will be $18.
